The mission:

At Missoui studio, we believe that art is life on another rhythm. with our creations, we strive to put back art in the everyday lives of people by offering them reasonably priced and wildly chic fashion accessories, items of jewelry, housewares, and more. Each handmade item is carefully crafted, with a healthy dose of love thrown in, by highly skilled Canadian artisans.

The team:

Born in 1984 in Ottawa, Chloe started sewing at the tender age of 7 at her mother’s knee. making a beeline through almost every art form growing up, she ends up in glass school in Montreal at age 25. since then, she has split her time between teaching glass arts in Quebec and Ontario, attending numerous classes and workshops in glass and other media, and making art happen. she is the flame that sparked missoui studio to life.

Born and raised in Laval by an artist mother, William followed a scientific path for the better part of his life. losing his mother to cancer at a young age motivated him to pursue an artistic path, which led him to a 2d-3d animation college degree and the art of 3d printing. Chloe and him met in 2009 and after 3 years of being life partners, he joined Missoui Studio. his intense curiosity and imagination enabled him to add a fresh perspective to Chloe’s art; his flame joined hers to make the Studio shine brighter.

native from beautiful northern baie-comeau, Joany spent her whole life perfecting her drawing and writing skills. fiercely intelligent, she acquired an impressive array of tools over the years that she made available to Chloe from the very beginning of the Missoui adventure, officially joining the ranks in 2020. With this much creative fuel, this fire is never going out.
